Samsung’s newest Gear VR headset brings experiences to life. The virtual reality headset has appeared in two new videos showing off its crazy capabilities.
In the first of the two videos included down below, Samsung appeals to gamers by showing them how great gaming can be on the Gear VR. Samsung explains how games comes to life with its Gear VR headset and that people seem like they’re actually in the game. Some examples included are Temple Run and Monument Valley. Samsung ends with the statement “your world just got bigger, discover the Galaxy in your pocket.”
The second video appeals to people who love to travel. Samsung shows how you can travel back in time to the dinosaur age and feel like you’re actually there. Or you can go even deeper and swim alongside the sharks in the deep blue ocean. Other examples show one sliding down a ski slope and another viewing all of New York City from the top a building in 360 degrees. The video comes to a conclusion with the same statement “your world just got bigger, discover the Galaxy in your pocket.”
Samsung’s latest Gear VR headset is available in the United States, United Kingdom and Europe. It costs approximately $99 USD depending on your location. Remember that you’ll have to have a compatible Samsung smartphone in order for it to work.
