Yahoo Mail for Android has been updated to version 5.1, bringing with it some handy improvements. One of those major improvements is support for a new mail provider that wasn’t included in Yahoo Mail’s big revamp update a few months back: Gmail.

Yes, folks will now be able to check their Gmail inbox with Yahoo Mail, which is especially helpful for those who are still holding onto Yahoo’s mail service. Beyond that, Yahoo included some performance enhancements in the update and brought back the Select All feature.

Here’s the full changelog:

– Connect Gmail mailboxes to read, organize, search and respond to your Gmail messages within the Yahoo Mail app
– Select all messages in a specific folder on your device – just tap on the select all icon in the upper-left corner when moving or deleting multiple messages
Interface improvements for account switching, settings, touch targets, and message list readability
– TalkBack accessibility improvements
– Performance enhancements

The update is slowly rolling out to everyone on the Play Store, but if you haven’t downloaded it yet, you can get it from the link below.
