It may only be the twelfth day of 2016, but if you are anything like me, then you may need a little bit of help to help you stay on track with your resolution. If you resolved to get more active and fit this New Year, then Google may have just the nudge you need. Google has new cards embedded within Google Search to help you do yoga!
If you are wondering how to perform a certain yoga pose, you can simply call upon Google Search, type or voice the pose you need help with, and Google will handle the rest. For example type in “Chakrasana” and Google will display the pertinent information relating to the pose at the top of the results. This includes a gallery of pictures of the pose, the body parts the pose stretches, the preparatory poses that lead into it, and lastly, the additional names that the pose goes by.
As always, it is nice to see Google adding free features to its existing set of apps. While, this new feature isn’t going to teach you everything there is to know about yoga, it is certainly a nice little feature to help you get started, or maybe brush up on some forgotten skills.
