At CES 2016, Huawei revealed they will be expanding their Huawei Watch line with two new versions of the wearable device. The new variants are named the “Elegant” and “Jewel” models. They will each come with a rose-gold plated body and bezels that have been decorated, notably the Jewel version with some Swarovski Zirconia jewels.
The devices being shown have bands and watch faces that match each other to try to complete the look and may offer other alternatives once launched. In an interesting change, the cases are actually a tiny bit larger than the current Huawei Watch model coming in at 44 mm in size versus the current 42 mm size. Despite the larger bodies, the lugs are still spaced to accommodate 18 mm bands.
The new versions of the Huawei Watch are slated to be released during the first half of 2016. No pricing details have been released yet, but they are expected to be similar to the existing Huawei Watch range of $349 – $799.
