An unknown ASUS device surfaced on GFXBench undergoing a full benchmark. Many of the device’s specs were revealed.
The listing appears to be a new ZenFone model; however, ASUS’s next batch of ZenFone 3’s are expected to release until May. The leaked device has model number Z010DD.
Based on the benchmark listing, the unknown ASUS Z010DD sports a 5.9-inch display with a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels. Driving the device is an octa-core Snapdragon 615 SoC backed with 3GB of RAM. On the back is a 12MP camera and on the front is a lower-class 5MP camera. Both can shoot Full HD video. Some other sensors include built-in Bluetooth and GPS. Most interestingly, the device ran through the tests with Android 6.0 installed, which is a good sign that the device will have it at launch. The device is also expected to include a fingerprint sensor.
Although the hardware isn’t bad, it isn’t the high-end specs we were hoping for. If this happens to be a ZenFone 3 model, hopefully ASUS has another variant sporting some higher specifications. Considering that lots of time remains before the device’s presumable release, there’s a good chance this is the case.
