Sony unveiled the newest additions to its portfolio of wireless speakers Tuesday.
The SRS-ZR7 is the newest high-end model, featuring four speakers and support for Google Cast and Spotify Connect. Down the line a bit is the smaller SRS-ZR5, which also supports Google Cast and can be paired with the SRS-ZR7. The SRS-ZR5 also supports Bluetooth and NFC for simplified pairing.
Sony also has expanded its line of h.ear products with the unveiling of the h.ear go portable speaker, h.ear in Wireless earbuds and h.ear on Wireless over-ear headphones. All three new products support high-res audio.
Sony is also expanding its line of Extra Bass (XB) products with the addition of the MDR-XB650BT headphones, SRS-XB3 and SRS-XB2 wireless speakers and GTK-XB7 high power audio system. As Sony puts it, each XB product is meant to “practically transport you to a club or music festival, allowing you to enjoy soul-shaking bass anywhere.”
