TYLT unveils a variety of batteries and charging products at CES 2016

TYLT, a manufacturer focusing on wireless charging and portable power solutions, unveiled several new products at CES 2016. Among the devices showcased is the ENERGI Desktop Charging Station that was recognized as a CES Innovation Awards Honoree. TYLT notes this is the fifth consecutive year the company has received that award for one of their products. TYLT’s Vice President of Product Management & Marketing, Kannyn MacRae, notes that TYLT’s new product line-up, “provide added convenience and power to our users…with wireless charging that’s 3X faster than before, more powerful portable batteries, and the adoption of industry-leading technologies like Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 and USB-C.”

The products from TYLT include:

  • ENERGI Desktop Charging Station ($79.99) – capable of charging five devices at one time, the device includes four rapid charge 2.4A USB ports and an additional 1A port that can double as a removable, rechargeable 3,200 mAh battery pack. The ENERGI Desktop Charging Station includes a built-in cable management system, uses only one outlet, and provides 50W maximum power.
  • VÜ 2.0 Wireless Charger ($79.99) – a Qi compatible wireless charging solution, this devices supports 15W of output for charging devices up to 3X faster than the pre-2015 standard, it comes with an aluminum base that can be adjusted by the user to meet their unique needs and has a three coil system so users do not have to worry about aligning their device on the charger.
  • VÜ SOLO 2.0 Wireless Charger ($49.99) – another Qi compatible wireless charger, the VÜ SOLO 2.0 supports the same 15W of output, but only lays flat or upright instead of being fully adjustable and requires devices to be properly aligned.
  • Turbo Portable Batteries ($29.99 – $89.99) – TYLT line of portable batteries range in size from 5,200 mAh to 20,800 mAh, support 50W of output and can employ both Type C Power Delivery and Quick Charge 2.0 for rapid charging of devices. The batteries can be recharged in a mere five hours and using DualFuel Technology, support simultaneous charging via a Type C and micro-USB port.
  • Turbo Smart Chargers ($39.99 – $99.99) – a 2-1 wall charger, these devices come with a 13,400 mAh internal battery, support Quick Charge 2.0, include a USB Type-C port, and come with a 2.4A USB Type-A port. TYLT also offers versions with either a USB or Lightning cable built-in. The device can provide 45W of power and charges in only 2.5 hours while also being capable of powering a laptop device.
