Wireless carrier U.S. Cellular has quietly launched some new deals for consumers who may be shopping around for service or a new phone now that the holiday crush has passed. Buyers can scoop up a shared data plan that comes with 6GB of data for only $40 per month plus a monthly line access fee that varies depending on how device payments are made. For comparison, U.S. Cellular currently charges $75 per month for an individual plan that only comes with 2GB of data.

In addition to the deal on the 6GB data plan, U.S. Cellular is offering up to $300 in promotional gift cards for consumers who switch or add a line to their plan and buy a new device from U.S. Cellular. The cards will consist of a $150 card issued at the point of purchase and another $150 card delivered a few weeks later. This special $300 promotion comes on top of the $350 that U.S. Cellular offers to pay for early termination fees a user may incur when leaving another carrier.

For anyone who is interested in adding a tablet device, U.S. Cellular is cutting their monthly service fee in half to only $5.

If you are interested in checking out these U.S. Cellular offers, head over to their web site at www.uscellular.com or visit one of their retail locations.
