In just three short days we get to see all the goodies that Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2016 has to offer us. Each and every year Galaxy Unpacked is a hotly anticipated event, but this year Samsung is really trying to wow us. For the first time ever, Samsung is going to be presenting its flagship event in live 360 degree streaming!
In order to make you feel like you are one of the audience members at the event in Barcelona, Samsung is offering up 4 different viewing angles- the auditorium, stage left, stage right or from center stage. You simply select which angle you want and enjoy. You will be able to watch the stream on either PC, mobile, or a Gear VR, and for exact directions on how to do that just keep reading below.
To watch on PC:
- Head to the Galaxy Unpacked page on the Samsung website when the event begins.
- Choose from one of the events four viewing positions.
To watch on mobile:
- Download the free Unpacked 360 View app from the Google Play Store.
- Once the event starts, launch the app, then select a viewing angle.
To watch via Gear VR:
- Go to the Oculus Store and search for the Unpacked 360 View app.
- Download and install it.
- Launch the app using the Gear VR headset.
- When the event begins, select one of the four viewing angles.
Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked 2016 will start streaming at 7 p.m. CET (1 p.m. EST) on Sunday, February 21st. Grab your device and enjoy all the 360 degree goodness!
