With just 12 days to go until Samsung takes the wraps off of its latest Galaxy S flagships, the S7 (SM-G930A) and S7 edge (SM-G935A) on February 21st, the leaks are increasing in frequency. Earlier today the stock wallpapers from the S7 edge leaked online, and now a screenshot has leaked from the FCC with the S7 edge’s battery capacity.
It’s believed that the Galaxy S7 will feature a 3,000mAh battery that will allow it to last up to two days on a single charge. While, according to the leaked screenshot, the S7 edge will carry a big 3,600mAh unit. That’s a pretty big increase from the S6 edge that had a lowly 2,600mAh battery and should provide a substantial increase in time between charges.
It should come as no surprise that Samsung has decided to give the S7 and S7 edge batteries with higher capacities after the criticism that last year’s S6 and S6 edge received for their less than stellar battery life.
