Earlier today, Huawei sent out invites for an event being held on April 6. So it seems we’re less than one month away from getting to know the company’s upcoming flagship, the P9, and perhaps its multiple variants.

The invite, seen above, shows Huawei is hosting a launch for something on April 6 in London. Huawei’s tagline for the event is “Change The Way You See the World,” seemingly hinting at photography on the P9. Also, the #OO at the top of the invite is being considered as a teaser for the dual-camera setup. The P9 is said to have two 12MP rear cameras with lenses made by Leico, a new friend of the Chinese company. Putting together this invite with the camera details we’ve heard easily makes it apparent that Huawei will be pushing the P9’s camera(s) as the standout feature.

The biggest leak came last week courtesy of Evan Blass, who spoke with a source that spilled a wealth of information regarding Huawei’s plans. The P9 is expected to have a 5.2-inch Full HD (1920×1080) display, Kirin 950 octa-core processor, Mali-T880 GPU, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, two 12MP rear camears, a 3900mAh battery, and EMUI covering Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. A fingerprint scanner and a USB Type-C port were revealed in the leaked images as well, proving that Huawei is not messing around to give consumers what they expect from a flagship.

Another leak from over the weekend showed unofficial press renders of the upcoming flagship.

Huawei is also going to cover other segments with three additional variants of the P9. The P9 Lite, P9 Max, and P9 Premium are allegedly going to join the P9 on April 6 in London. From there, they should reach consumers hands by the end of the first half of 2016.
