The line between mid-range and high-end smartphones are beginning to blur as technology advances. That’s especially true for a new smartphone Lenovo announced late last night, the VIBE S1 Lite.
Lenovo’s VIBE S1 Lite is featuring some nice specifications at a low price point. It has a 5-inch 1080p display and a quick MediaTek MTK 6753 octa-core processor keeping things running smoothly under the hood. Users will be able to take advantage of a 13-megapixel rear camera and 16GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card. The device is also running Android 5.1.
The VIBE S1 Lite also has a large 2,700mAh battery in tow. Paired with some Power Saving settings, users will be able to get a couple of hours of screen-on time with the VIBE S1 Lite.
Lenovo will make the VIBE S1 Lite available in the first quarter of 2016. Consumers will be able to buy it in white or blue for $199. Unfortunately, the smartphone won’t be available in the US. On the contrary, it’ll be available where all Lenovo smartphones are currently available.
