Carriers, retailers to start selling the Samsung Galaxy S7 on March 11

Finally, Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge to the world. Now millions of people are wondering when and where they can get Samsung’s new flagship. So carriers and retailers have moved quickly to share availability details in hope of converting buzz to sales. Everyone from the biggest carriers to retailers like Best Buy and Walmart plan to offer the phones to customers in-store and online next month.

The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will be up for pre-order on February 23 before actually being sold starting March 11.

U.S. Carriers / Retailers

Verizon will begin taking pre-orders on Tuesday, February 23. The phones will then be sold on Friday, March 11. Color options from Verizon include Black Onyx, Gold Platinum, and Silver Titanium.

Here are the carrier’s promotions:

  • Memory Bundle: Get any case up to $39.99, any display protector up to $34.99, and a 32GB microSD card ($39.99) for $79.99
  • Charging Bundle: Get a Samsung Wireless Fast Charging Stand ($69.99), a car charger with Fast Charging ($34.99), and a Samsung Fast Charging Portable Power Pack with 10,220mAh ($79.99) for $99.99

AT&T will begin taking pre-orders on Tuesday, February 23. The phones will then be sold on Friday, March 11. Color options from AT&T include Black Onyx, Gold Titanium, and Silver Titanium.

  • DirecTV customers: Buy a Samsung Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge and get unlimited data

Pricing starts at $23.17 per month on AT&T Next 24 for the Galaxy S7 while the Galaxy S7 Edge bumps that up to $26.50 per month.

Pricing starts at $25.99 per month on a twenty-four month installment plan for the Galaxy S7 while the Galaxy S7 Edge bumps that up to $30.50 per month. Sprint also has its Galaxy Forever program that allows customers to lease a phone and upgrade to a new one after twelve monthly payments.

The full retail prices are $669 and $779, respectively. uscellular U.S. Cellular will begin taking pre-orders on Tuesday, February 23. The phones will then be sold on Friday, March 11. Here is the carrier’s promotion:

  • Pre-order or buy the Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge by March 18 to get a free Samsung Gear VR and six-game bundle

 Pricing starts at $28 per month on a twenty-four month installment plan for the Galaxy S7 while the Galaxy S7 Edge bumps that up to $32.50. The two-year contract prices are $199 and $299, respectively.
