The Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge have already gone up for pre-order in tens of countries around the world. Based on the Chinese and South Korean Galaxy S7 online listings, these countries will get models containing no front-facing Samsung logo.
Unlike the United States, those who purchase either one of Samsung’s new Galaxy smartphones in China or South Korea will get a handset with no front-facing Samsung logo. So far there’s been no word mentioned on why these two countries are lacking the logo. Although it may just be for a more simplified front look. We’ve seen Samsung use this strategy in Japan last year with the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. Soon after we were told that the reason behind doing so was to hopefully sell more and bring up marketshare, which was lacking at the time.
Both the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge will go up for sale in more than sixty countries beginning March 11th. Stay right here at Talk Android to find out how they do once they hit the market.
