The Nextbit Robin smartphone has sold out, just recently after units were shipped to Kickstarter backers keen to get their hands on the gadget.
Utilizing the cloud unlike any other smartphone you’ve seen before, the Robin will be back in stock from next week, according to Nextbit’s Twitter.
Joking about the shortage of Robin’s, Nextbit tweeted: “You must really like us. We like you too, but Robin is sold out.”
The smartphone began shipping to Kickstarter backers on February 16, with plenty of tech fanatics excited to try out the device that offers up 100GB of cloud storage with every purchase.
Cloud integration is a key ingredient to the Nextbit Robin’s user experience and the Android-powered gadget can apparently adapt perfectly to a user’s storage needs. Nextbit claims that by learning the apps you use and the space you need, the smartphone can offload unnecessary content to keep everything running smoothly.
Nextbit’s official website was recently given a full facelift to celebrate the Robin shipping out to backers, now featuring a variety of accessories for the new handset.
Speaking via the fresh new site, Nextbit writes: “Robin is designed to stand out. It’s simple and distinct in form and function: every port, button, and sensor is thoughtfully placed and easy to use.”
