Remember the monotone piano? Google made a free album with it

Only two weeks ago did Google reveal its monotone piano during the 58th Annual Grammy Awards. The keys of the piano — all eighty-eight of them — were altered to be on middle C; therefore, every key should have been producing the same sound. But Google allowed pianist Ji-Yong Kim to sit down at this special grand piano to prove you could do various songs with just one note.

Now you can listen to the songs Google recreated with its monotone piano because the company has released its very own album. Monotune Piano by Android has ten songs ranging from classics to nursery rhymes.

Google’s Monotune Piano album has familiar songs like “Three Blind Mice” and “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” in addition to “Rondo Alla Turca,” which I’m sure many of us haven’t heard before.

These are all of the songs on the album:

  • “Rondo Alla Turca” (3:08)
  • “Minute Waltz” (1:41)
  • “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” (0:26)
  • “Row, Row, Row Your Boat” (0:21)
  • “Claire de Lune” (4:15)
  • “The Yankee Doodle Boy” (0:21)
  • “Three Blind Mice” (0:16)
  • “Goldberg Variations” (2:27)
  • “America, the Beautiful” (0:37)
  • “Hot Cross Buns” (0:18)

The album is completely free, and you can head over to the Play Store right now to download it for listening on your phone, tablet, or computer.
