Sprint partners with Dixons Carphone to open up new stores across the US

Sprint has teamed up with European wireless retailer Dixons Carphone to try and pierce the tough US market. The two companies will be working together to open 500 new Sprint-branded stores across the US, with both companies splitting costs 50/50. Dixons Carphone will be responsible for running those stores.

This move helps Sprint to expand its retail footprint in the US, which should hopefully give them a boost against Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. It also helps Dixons Carphone to try and penetrate the US retail market even further, which is far from an easy task, especially for a European retailer.

Keep an eye out for a new Sprint store popping up in your neighborhood.
