Vivo Xplay 5 images leak ahead of official announcement

We’re less than a day away from the Vivo Xplay 5 becoming official, but that hasn’t stopped a set of last minute leaks from making the rounds. Several photos of the device have appeared, showing off pretty much everything you could have wanted to know about its appearance and size.

There’s really nothing revolutionary about how the Xplay 5 looks, but it’s still a pretty nice looking device. Edges are curved, the screen looks nice and bright, and there’s a fingerprint scanner on the backside of the device that’s all the rage with newer Android devices.

Looks aren’t the most important thing here, however. The Xplay 5 is rumored to have a whopping 6 GB of RAM is shaping up to be one of the best performing devices we’ve ever seen. Samsung has been working on making 6 GB of RAM a possibility in smartphones lately, so seeing a device actually take advantage of that means there’s a good chance we’ll see other phones adopt the crazy capacity over the next few years.

Vivo will make everything completely official tomorrow, so we won’t have to wait too much longer to find out which rumors have been true.
