If you’re a fan of the Imgur for Android, you’ll be happy to find out the app has received a hefty update that includes performance improvements, bug fixes, and design updates, as well as improved log in options and Muzei integration for wallpapers. We have the list of changes directly after the break.
The update brings the app up to version 2.4.2.370 and adds the ability to sign up using Google Login. The Settings function is now under Profile, and as mentioned, Muzei is integrated for use with phone wallpapers. Other improvements include:
Grid:
- More text without covering the photos
- New topic picker screen
- Camera icon used for Upload
Detail:
- Moved vote and favorite buttons to the top
- To quickly upvote, double-tap an image
- Quick way to scroll on long posts
- Share button is moved to the bottom right
- Updated design for comments
If you don’t already have the Imgur for Android app installed on your smartphone or tablet, you can grab it from the Play Store here. A word of warning – once installed, you’ll lose a lot of your spare time watching furry creatures being impossibly cute as well as humans failing tremendously at just about everything.
