We’ve been hearing about the Oppo R9 and R9 Plus for quite some time. The duo will release at an event to be held on March 17th, which has been confirmed by a teaser image.
Up until this point, pricing information has been a secret. A new image leak has detailed pricing and some of the headlining specifications. The Oppo R9 will go for CNY 2,498, which will be the cheaper of the two. This translates to roughly $383 USD and gets you 64GB of storage space. The Oppo R9 Plus will carry a price tag of CNY 2,998 or approximately $460 USD, this gets you 32GB of storage. If you’re feeling the need for 128GB, and you want the R9 Plus, you’ll have to pay $500 USD.
Based on the teaser image, we can also confirm some specs. Both the R9 and R9 Plus will sport a whopping 4GB of RAM and have fast charging capabilities. The highlighting difference between the two is the 4,120mAh battery capacity on the R9 Plus, which should provide more than a day of battery life on a single charge.
