Verizon is now pushing updates to both the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+. Owners of the Galaxy S6 Edge+ are getting treated with Marshmallow, Google’s latest major software overhaul. Galaxy Note 5 owners already have Marshmallow, but will be getting a minor update fixing some issues brought about by it.

If you’re on Verizon, and have the Galaxy S6 Edge+, Marshmallow is finally on its way! If you are yet to receive the notification to update, you can try grabbing it manually by going into your device settings under ‘About Phone’ and ‘check for new software updates.’

The update is rolling out to the Galaxy S6 Edge+ in waves, so it will only be a matter of days before it shows up for everyone. Owners will get all the latest features from both Google and Samsung including doze mode for battery saving, Now On Tap for contextual awareness, and simplified app permissions to keep you in control of your data. It’ll come at a large size so make sure you connect to Wi-Fi and have enough battery life in the tank before starting.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 users, don’t feel left out. You’re getting an update as well! In the update Verizon had made some performance improvements and added a few tweaks addressing connectivity issues and bugs. You’re handset should run a lot better after you install the update.
