About a month ago, I received iClever’s portable waterproof Bluetooth speaker in the mail. Over the years I have tried my fair share of portable speakers in search of the best, but I can honestly say none have compared to this one.
Design
The design of this speaker is pretty neat, but some might not like it. It definitely has a more “industrial” look to it, and while it isn’t as appealing as other portable speakers out there, it’s not a big problem. And because of its industrial design, I’m able to take it almost anywhere outdoors where I’m doing a project without worrying if it’ll break or not.
The four buttons (Power, lower volume, play/pause, and increase volume) are lined in a row on top of the speaker and are easy to activate without pressing too much at all. Attached to the top is also a black rubber wristband of sorts. I definitely would not recommend toting this around on your wrist, as the speaker is a little too heavy for that, but the wristband works to secure around a shower curtain rod, or ceiling hook if you don’t have anywhere to set it down.
Overall, I love this speaker and that “industrial” design can be quite nice at times.
Performance
The iClever portable waterproof speaker is one of the clearest sounding Bluetooth speakers I have ever used. The sound is sharp, crisp, and all-around on point. One of the major problems I’ve had with other portable speakers is how high the sound goes—or, I should say, how high the sound doesn’t go. Fortunately, that’s not a problem here. This speaker gets loud, which makes it perfect for when you’re working on outdoor projects, and it’ll save you money on a DJ at your next event or party.
The other awesome features of this speaker are the battery life and the fact that it’s waterproof. You don’t have to worry about the speaker getting wet, so it’ll be fine by the pool, the shower, or out in the rain. And the battery life is extensive. I’ve spent hours working on different things with the speaker playing in the background, and it hasn’t failed me a single time so far.
It’s about $30 on Amazon and well worth the price—I’d recommend it to anyone tired of mediocre Bluetooth speakers. Even after a month, I still can’t get over how clear the sound is. Have you tried out iClever’s portable waterproof Bluetooth speaker yet, or have you found a different portable speaker you think is awesome? We want to know—let us know in the comments!
