AT&T offers unlimited data plan for customers who bundle with DIRECTV or AT&T U-Verse

When AT&T acquired DIRECTV last year, we knew it would only be a matter of time before they started offering bundles in a move to entice subscribers to both sides of their business. As 2016 gets underway, AT&T has announced a new offer of unlimited data for consumers who are willing to subscribe to both tv and wireless service. The new Unlimited Plan will start at $100 per month for one line and can expand to four lines for only $180 per month plus the cost of a DIRECTV or U-Verse subscription.

AT&T will begin offering the new Unlimited Plan on January 12th. If you are already an AT&T wireless customer, you can bundle DIRECTV with your service in order to take advantage of the offer. Packages start at $19.99 per month for 12 months then switch to $49.99 per month for the next 12 months.

For existing DIRECTV and U-Verse customers who want to switch their wireless service over to AT&T in order to take advantage of the new Unlimited Plan, AT&T is offering up to $500 in credits if you trade-in an eligible device, port your number over, and buy a smartphone on an AT&T Next plan. The initial line of service runs $100 per month and the next two additional lines carry a $40 per month access fee each. If a fourth device is added, AT&T will waive the access fee.
