Aznog adds support for 20 countries today, lets you call mobile and landlines for free

Aznog, a VoIP application for Android, announced today that it has expanded to an additional 20 countries. The application was previously only available to use in the UK and Germany.

Aznog is a unique VoIP application in that it has technology that will not only let you make free calls to mobile devices, but also landlines. The application will let you call friends and family through Wi-Fi, 3G and 4G networks. One of the best parts is that the person on the other end of the line doesn’t have to have Aznog to take your call.

The company truly believes that calling should be a free service, and that’s just what its trying to provide. Unlike many other similar applications, Aznog doesn’t have any hidden fees or credits you have to buy to use it.

Unfortunately, the duration of a call can only last two minutes, but Aznog says that they will be increasing the limit soon. While they’ve added support for twenty additional countries today, they plan on adding support for more shortly.

The two minute call duration is a real bummer, though it’s not entirely bad for those short and sweet phone calls. Hopefully Aznog in the future will be able to lift the limit altogether.
