The LG Optimus Zone 3 leaked for Verizon’s prepaid network a few weeks back, and today it’s being officially added to Big Red’s low-cost portfolio. It offers a pretty solid successor to the popular Optimus Zone 2 with a few key improvements.
You’ll get an unnamed quad-core processor, a 5 megapixel rear camera and 2 megapixel front camera with LG’s Selfie Flash, plus a generous 4.5-inch display. Plus, the Zone 3 is operating with Lollipop out of the box and has expandable storage. It won’t be stealing away any potential customers from LG’s flagship devices, but at only $69 on a Verizon prepaid plan, it’s not a bad choice for someone looking to upgrade an older prepaid phone or jump to Verizon’s no-contract plans.
