Following Lenovo’s decision to drop the Motorola name in favor of its new ‘Moto by Lenovo’ branding, the Chinese company today revealed that it will be focusing its attention on creating some of the market’s finest high-end devices with biometric scanners on board this year.
Lenovo also announced that it will not be refreshing the existing Moto G and Moto E lineups. Those are effectively dead. Instead, the handsets will be merged with the company’s existing range of budget-friendly devices, which all feature around 5-inch displays. In line with this, it has been decided that all future Moto devices will feature displays over 5 inches as the firm is confident that smaller displays are not popular outside of Europe.
