The Polaroid Snap will be available in three sizes – 5 inches, 5.5 inches and 6 inches. It features a 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera. It will have a quad-core processor, Android 5.1, 2GB of RAM and up to 16 GB of storage that can be expanded via the phone’s Micro SD card slot.

The MSRP of the Snap will run from $130-$180.

Polaroid calls the Polaroid Power smartphone “fast and powerful.” It has a 6-inch, 1920 x 1080p Full HD display. Like the Snap, the Power’s rear camera clocks in at 13 megapixels, but it has a higher-resolution 8-megapixel front-facing camera. A 64-bit octa-core processor and 3 GB of RAM should help the Power live up to its name and 32 GB of onboard storage will allow users to store plenty of photos, videos, music and apps. A micro SD card slot and Google Cloud will allow users to expand the Power’s storage capabilities.

The Polaroid Power will retail for $250, and Android 6.0 Marshmallow will arrive in a future software update.

The Snap will be available through EVINE Live in February, while the Power will be available in the spring.

LAS VEGAS, January 6, 2016– Polaroid is pleased to announce the addition of two new devices to their collection of unlocked smartphones, the Polaroid Snap and Polaroid Power. Unlocked smartphones allow for users to avoid binding contracts, commitments and cost-prohibitive barriers and the ability to select any participating network or plan. The new additions to the Polaroid smartphone line provide consumers with competitive features and sleek, modern designs, all at an affordable price point. The Polaroid Snap and the Polaroid Power smartphones will be on display in the Polaroid booth #13514 at the 2016 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

“We’re expanding our unlocked smartphone line with a focus on enhanced camera capabilities, upgraded features and providing even more choices for consumers to customize their mobile lifestyles,” said Polaroid President and CEO Scott W. Hardy. “Our new smartphone line complements a family of Polaroid products that embody what the brand is most well-known for; offering consumers fun and affordable ways to instantly capture and share memories with their friends and family. We’re proud to introduce the Polaroid Snap and the Polaroid Power smartphones as an affordable option for consumers who are seeking to do exactly that with their mobile device.”

Goodbye, contracts. Hello, choice.

The Polaroid Snap unlocked smartphone line is available in three display sizes, 5”, 5.5” and 6”, designed to suit the needs of nearly any user. The phone’s high-powered 13MP rear camera with a dual LED flash is paired with a 5MP front camera with its own forward-facing flash, ideal for bringing people together to capture and share every candid moment. The dual LED flash on the rear camera helps users take accurate photos in challenging lighting situations. The smartphone’s sharp HD display enhances the look of every photo, video and game. The Polaroid Snap smartphone offers a quad-core processor, 4G LTE connectivity, the Android 5.1, Lollipop OS, 2GB RAM and up to 16 GB of storage that can be expanded using the phone’s Micro SD card slot. Unlock Performance

The Polaroid Power unlocked smartphone is fast and powerful, providing users a large 6”, 1920 x 1080p full HD display. The large screen size does not compromise the phone’s overall sleek, thin and light design, making viewing text and media easier and enhancing mobile gaming. The Polaroid Power includes a feature set that rivals some of the market’s most popular smartphone models. A 64-bit octa-core processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 4G LTE connectivity make sharing content with friends and family fast and easy. The phone features a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera to capture sharp and stunning images. With 32 GB of built in storage, the Polaroid Power can store a plethora of photos, videos, movies, music and apps. Storage can be expanded thanks to a built-in Micro SD card slot or Google Drive cloud storage. The Polaroid Power smartphone’s high-capacity on-board battery is accompanied by an additional 8000mAh slim external power bank. Combined, this provides a whopping 11000mAh battery capacity that allows users to be ready for anything while on-the-go. Available in platinum with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS and upgradeable to Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, the Polaroid Power retails for $249.99.

Designed and manufactured by Southern Telecom, an authorized Polaroid licensee, the Polaroid Snap unlocked smartphone line will be available through EVINE Live in February.
