A leaked GFXBench report emerged online earlier today for the upcoming successor to Samsung’s 2015 best-selling affordable smartphone, the Galaxy J5, which is rumoured to launch in just over a month’s time. The benchmark states that the handset carries the model number SM-J510 and2 packs a 1.2GHz Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor, an Adreno 306 GPU, a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5-megapixel selfie snapper.

Other notable specifications include a 5.2-inch 720p display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable internal storage along with a 2,600mAh battery. It’s also expected to feature 4G LTE connectivity and optional dual-SIM ports. It’s set to ship running the latest build of Android 5.1.1 Lollipop but is scheduled to receive the sought-after Marshmallow update before December.

Unfortunately, that’s all the information we have on the Galaxy J5 at present. Its design remains a mystery, but we suspect it will look pretty similar to last year’s model with some minor aesthetic alterations, such as smoother corners, thinner bezels and a lighter construction.
