Samsung’s latest addition to its Tizen Ecosystem, the Z3, could be available in several European nations as well as Indonesia very soon.
Reports indicate that the European expansion could happen as soon as this quarter and that Russia may be getting the Tizen-based device sooner than many other places. Similarly, it appears likely the Z3 will make its way to Indonesia early this quarter.
As we reported in October, the Z3 has a 5-inch Super AMOLED display, a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, microSD support up to 128GB, a rear 8-megapixel camera, a front-facing 5-megapixel sensor and a 2,600mAh battery.
Reports don’t indicate a price schedule in either Europe or Indonesia for the Z3, but in India, it sells for about $125. If the European and Indonesian Z3s are priced similarly, will that low price be enough to convince consumers to make the jump from Android or iOS? Only time will tell.
