The shatterproof Moto X Force will soon hit stores in India. Motorola made the announcement on its Twitter page earlier this week and included a brief video highlighting the handset’s durability.
The Moto X Force, also called the DROID Turbo 2, is the world’s first ever smartphone with a shatterproof screen. The device has already rolled out to several countries around the world, India being next up. On its Twitter page, Motorola made the following statement regarding the Moto X Force.
Are you one amongst 40% of people who are deathly scared of dropping their phones?
Below the text lies the video that shows just how durable the Moto X Force is compared to other flagship devices on the market. These include some from Samsung, Apple and Sony. Motorola goes beyond by including some facts about cracked screens. According to Motorola, one in three people suffer from having a cracked screen at some point. Additionally, one in four use broken screens even after they cut their finger(s) for the first time. The video concludes with the Moto X Force being the survivor of the bunch and then displays the words ‘coming soon.’
No exact date has been provided, but if you’re holding your upgrade and want something that stands out from the crowd, the Moto X Force is a bold choice. Hopefully we’ll see it make way to India by the end of January.
