Fashionably late as usual, Verizon has finally started pushing out the long-awaited Android 5.1.1 update for the Galaxy Note 4. Not only does this upgrade transport the latest version of Lollipop to the handset, but it also removes all of the Amazon bloatware that shipped on board the device as standard.

The full changelog can be seen below:

  • Android 5.1.1 Lollipop
  • Support Android for Work.
  • Upgrades to Samsung Knox Platform, a comprehensive suite of mobile enterprise security solutions
  • Removes pre-loaded Amazon Appstore and Amazon Widgets from the device
