Microsoft launches a pair of new apps on the Play Store

sprightlyMicrosoft has released two brand new apps on the Play Store, one of which focuses on content creation for a business, while the other tries to help your organize your work life. Both of these are Microsoft Garage projects, so they may not see a ton of support or anything years down the line, but they both look promising.

First up is Sprightly, which aims to make it easier to create and sell content, or just to organize things for personal use. You can create collages of products, along with pricing, that you can share with friends, family, or potential customers. It offers a “collections” section which saves some of your frequently used content to make it easier to send out information on a regular basis, too. This app might not be incredibly useful for everyone, but anyone that uses Etsy or eBay could probably benefit from the additional organization.

The second app is called Kaizala, and it’s a little more general use for many people. It tracks information and resources (emails, bills, contacts, etc.) and puts them all in one place, then throws a chat interface on top of things to help you manage large projects. The chatting and management aspect might not be helpful for anyone that’s just trying to stay organized, but if you deal with lots of bills and reminders, Kaizala can help.

Kaizala works without a computer, which is unique for an app like this. It collects info and then allows you to do things like request location updates, assign jobs and projects, and share images, all in the name of quick and easy collaboration. It’s simple and is even optimized for 2G speeds, so it won’t use up much data, which is handy.
