[Deal] Grab a Dell Venue 8 7000 tablet at a $200 discount

dell_venue_8_pic_01Dell did a pretty poor job naming the Venue 8 7000, but that doesn’t mean it’s not a solid tablet, especially at the right price. It’s got a slick design, great hardware, and a unique camera set-up that uses Intel’s RealSense tech that tracks motion, and a relatively untouched version of Android. And now, Dell has cut a significant $200 off the price of the tablet, bringing it down into a very affordable price range.

At launch, the 16 GB model cost $399,  but you can scoop one up for just $199. The 32 GB model only costs an extra $50, getting the same $200 discount. That $199/$249 nets you a capable Intel processor, 2 GB of RAM, a large battery, and a very high resolution screen. The only kicker is that it’s running Android 5.0.2 and probably won’t be getting updated anytime soon, but at this point that might still be a worthwhile trade off.

For an extra $50, you can also get a wireless keyboard and case combo from Dell, making this a fantastic tablet for light working or Netflix.
