Moments ago, LG sent Talk Android an email that states the G5 will be released in the United States in “early April” through various carriers and retailers. Specifically named to be selling the G5 are Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Best Buy, and B&H Photo. The collection of companion devices, marketed “LG Friends,” will also be on sale next month to coincide with the new flagship’s arrival. This includes the two modules as well as LG’s 360-degree camera and virtual reality headset.
Most of these carriers and retailers confirmed at launch they’d be selling the G5.
Like the G4, LG’s G5 will have a special promotion for early adopters. Anyone who buys a G5 in the United States can claim a free second battery as well as a charging cradle.
