It’s been a long time coming but the Reddit app for Android is finally ready for prime-time, with the official app now available to download from the Google Play Store after spending some time in closed beta testing earlier this year.

Now, regardless of which sub-Reddit you like to visit, whether it’s your favorite sports team, talking about the nominations, or viewing the latest cat gifs, you’ll be able to comment, up or down vote other people’s posts and topics, as well as creating your own threads.

The app allows you to view content in either card view or compact view which crams a few extra threads on the screen. There’s a night mode that changes the white background to black, which will also help save battery on handsets with AMOLED displays. You can also choose to disable image previews and blur NSFW images if necessary.

Besides viewing content, you can also access your inbox to view and reply to your messages. And by installing the official app, you will be rewarded with some Reddit gold for your trouble.

You can download the official Reddit Android app from the Google Play Store by clicking here.
