ZUK, a chinese brand by Lenovo, has a new smartphone featuring all high-end specs. The Z2 Pro is the company’s latest and greatest smartphone for premium users.
The Z2 Pro has a 5.2-inch Full HD display and packs a Snapdragon 820 processor from chipmaker Qualcomm. It contains a whopping 6GB of RAM, making it one of the first, and has a 13MP rear-facing camera along with an 8MP front-facing camera. Onboard is 128GB of internal storage (not all is usable), that fails to include expandability due to its premium exterior design. According to ZUK, the Z2 Pro features ‘the world’s first true 3D glass body.’ It’s composed of premium materials including a combination of both metal and glass. A fingerprint scanner is embedded into a hardware button on the front, which is most presumably a home button.
The Z2 Pro boasts a 3,100mAh battery and supports 4G LTE connectivity. To charge it, you’ll have to plug-in the included charging cable that connects to the handset via its USB 3.1 Type-C port, which includes fast charging. A wide range of health sensors are also built-in. These include UV detection, a heart rate sensor and many others. Shockingly, Apple’s iCloud service seems to make the cut.
The Z2 Pro will be available to purchase in China tomorrow for 2700 Yuan, or approximately $416 USD. It’s too bad this may be the only country where it’ll be up for sale.
