ASUS has today started pushing out a stability update for all variants of the ZenFone 2 located in both Europe, North America and South America. In addition to bundling a plethora of much-needed bug fixes and stability improvements, the upgrade also brings compatibility for the search engine giant’s recently-released Android for Work feature.
For those unaware of Android for Work, it’s an innovative piece of functionality that lets you use your smartphone for work-related tasks without risking the inclusion of any of your personal data. To do this it creates two partitions on your handset — one for work data, and one for personal content.

- Fixed google play stop service .
- Fixed SD cards issue.
- Fixed SmartBox not read the phone issue.
- Fixed can not control the volume of YouTube when using miracast.
- Fixed the issue of displaying wrong operator name when roaming and searching network.
- Fixed phone hang-up issue in Russia
- Fixed PosteMobile NFC issue (ZE551ML only)
- Support Android for Work
- Improve ASUS ZenUI Launcher stability
- Improve Cell Broadcast stability
- Fix the failure to share Photo Collage picture via Email
- Several Apps update
- Improve power usage of Email App
If you happen to own a ZenFone 2 and are still awaiting the upgrade, be sure to head into Settings, followed by About Device, then tap Software Update and click the button entitled Check for Updates. Alternatively, if you don’t feel like manually scanning for the upgrade, you can simply wait until you receive a notification prompting you to upgrade.
