Google Photos updated with more editing tools

Google has updated its Photos service with some much-needed editing tools, allowing users to further customize their snaps thanks to various changes.

The recent additions made to Google Photos mean it’s now possible to edit multiple pictures at once, and the website’s development team say that the result is a faster overall experience for all.

Users can now navigate between different photos all whilst staying in editing mode, and edits made to pictures are saved automatically. On top of that, undoing edits made to snaps is straightforward.

An all-new aspect ratio selector lets you crop till you drop, with the options including Original, Square, 16:9 and 4:3. Whilst the collection of editing tools is still fairly basic, there’s certainly more on offer now than there was before.

Interestingly, the updates pushed to the web-based version of Google Photos haven’t made their way to mobile yet, but we think it’s only a matter of time.

All of the updates mentioned are live now over on Google Photos, so explore the new features if you’re keen to spruce up your picture collection.
