The HTC 10 is scheduled to release this Tuesday at 8:00am EST. We’re expecting all high-end specs, a revised design, and new software tricks. Today, Android Headlines caught a glimpse of a leaked spec sheet, and managed to capture an image of it.
Based on the leak, we can just about confirm most of the device’s rumored specs. I think it’s pretty safe to say that the HTC 10 will sport a 5.2-inch QHD Super LCD 5 display. According to the leak, this display will incorporate curved-edge Gorilla Glass for an added durability and a supreme look and feel. Although a Snapdragon 820 processor and 4GB of RAM is expected, it has not been specified on the list.
As for cameras, HTC plans to introduce something special. The HTC 10 will supposedly boast an incredible performing camera with its new 12MP rear-facing UltraPixel sensor. Based on the leak, this will include laser autofocus and OIS. The base model should house 32GB of onboard storage with a microSD card slot possible. HTC’s signature Boomsound speakers should also make the cut.
Some new information has also appeared on the leaked spec sheet. Pre-orders will seemingly start shipping in early May, giving us the impression that they’ll start accepting pre-orders soon after the announcement. Carriers such as AT&T, T-Mobile, MetroPCS, Alaska Communications, Cricket, NET 10, Straight Talk, and WalMart Family Mobile are expected to offer the device along with some possible others. Those who purchase the device unlocked directly from HTC will be given the option to add-on the ‘UH OH’ protection service, that was introduced last year. In a few days time we’ll have every official detail to share, along with our first impressions and analysis. Hang in there for just a bit longer!
