Verizon begins shipping HTC 10 preorders

The jury is still out on whether the HTC 10 has turned around the sinking ship that represents HTC’s financial woes in recent years, but so far, the company’s latest flagship has received a generally positive reception. Now it’s time to see whether the HTC 10’s warm reception will translate into much-needed sales for the Taiwanese handset maker. On that note, it has been reported that Verizon has begun shipping units out to those that placed pre-orders with the carrier.

According to Reddit user, Multimoon, Verizon emailed a UPS Ground tracking number for the HTC 10 preorder that he placed a mere couple of hours after the pre-order page went live. It’s expected that the handset will be delivered on Thursday, fulfilling Verizon’s promise of shipping by May 5th.

If you haven’t received notification of your HTC 10 preorder being shipped yet, it’s likely that it will be a staged process over the next few hours.
